I’m the expert. Where do I find the time?

Capturing a skill is a conversation, not a writing project. The AI skill builder asks the questions, you answer in your own words, and you can add files you already have. During implementation our team builds your first 4 skills with you.

What kind of know-how can become a skill?

Anything your best people do the same way every time, or judge the same way every time: quotes and pricing, proposals, client replies, refunds, reviews, reports, checklists and handoffs.

Can I use documents we already have?

Yes. Add up to 10 files to an interview, up to 10MB each and 25MB in total, like your best past quotes, a rate card or a checklist. The skill builder learns from them as it writes the skill.

Will a skill make calls I wouldn’t make?

It works from your rules and your best past work, not a blank chat. You can also tell it where to stop and hand the decision back to a person, like flagging any quote over 40 hours for you.

How is this different from writing an SOP or a wiki page?

A document waits for someone to find it, read it and get it right. A skill runs in Claude Code when someone types its slash command, and does the work the way your expert would.

What happens when the expert leaves?

The skill stays in your organization’s library and keeps working for everyone who runs it. Every version is kept, so the next person can pick it up and improve it.
